About

Kilbroney Caravan Park is situated in a stunning location in Rostrevor, County Down, Northern Ireland, where mountain, sea and valley create a scenic wonderland. Overlooking Carlingford Lough these 97 acres of beautiful parkland nestles within the shadow of Slieve Martin and the Mountains of Mourne.

Kilbroney Caravan Park operating times in 2026:

Opening weekend: Thursday 12 March to Tuesday 17 March (inclusive)

Friday 20 & Saturday 21/Friday 27 & Saturday 28 March

Daily openings start Thursday 2 April to Saturday 3 October (inclusive)

Friday 9 & Saturday 10 October/ Friday 16 & Saturday 17 October

Daily from Friday 23 October to Saturday 31 October (inclusive)

Kilbroney Caravan Park closes on Sunday 1 November 2026 at 1pm .

Check in: from 2pm. Check out: strictly before 1pm

 

Please note: Upon re-opening of the booking system on, the serviced grass pitches (numbers 15 to 30) will only be available for bookings on and after Friday 1 May 2026. Dependant on weather / grassed surface conditions, this will be reviewed prior to the re-opening on Friday 1st May 2026 with any decisions to open additional pitches earlier will be notified via the Facebook page.

Kilbroney Caravan Park – Pitching Sites & Facilities

- Total fully serviced pitches: 52

•    16 soft-standing serviced caravan pitches – located at the bottom of the Caravan Park, below the toilet and shower block
•    10 grass tent pitches – unserviced

- Serviced pitches suitable for tents:
1,2,3,4,5,6, 15 - 30

- Serviced pitches not suitable for awnings:
7,9,11 to 20, 32 to 40,42,44,45 & 47

There are many places to visit and things to do in the local area, including hiking to the Cloughmor (known locally as the 'big stone'), a visit to Ross Monument, a walk along the Fairy Glen and the Narnia Trail or a cycle on the Mountain Bike Trails.
