About
Celebrate the history and stories of Down Gaelic Games in the company of 1991 and 1994 Down All Ireland Winners, DJ Kane and Ross Carr, teammates and best of friends.
Learn how local man Maurice Hayes was instrumental in the transformation of Down County GAA and Gaelic football ultimately leading to Down taking the Sam Maguire All Ireland Winners Trophy across the border for the first time in 1960 and again in 1961.
At a local GAA pitch, DJ and Ross take you through your paces with some fun hands-on Gaelic skills training. Get to grips with the fast-paced skills of soloing and hand passing, strike a sliotar and experience the sheer joy and excitement of Gaelic Games.
Return to Denvir’s Coaching Inn to pour your own pint and enjoy lunch made from local produce and Irish Hospitality.
