A dragonfly made from willow

About

As part of the Aspiring Geopark Lúnasa Festival 2022 join me to make a Giant Dragonfly using traditional willow weaving techniques

This half-day willow weaving workshop, suitable for adult beginners, is taking place at Bluebell Lane's stunning woodlands in the heart of Ring of Gullion. The workshop is outdoor, but under cover from the sun.

Onsite free parking, all amenities and free tea/coffee and biscuits available throughout the event. All materials and tools are supplied.

Workshop numbers are restricted to allow for on-to-one tuition. Participants are invited to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the beautiful grounds following the class. Basket weaving requires a good level of dexterity and may not be suitable for people with arthritic conditions of the hands.
