About

For EHOD this year the Strangford Residents Association will have live music and an art exhibition, why not go along and enjoy these as well as viewing this amazing monument. Strangford Castle is recorded to have been built around later 15th Century with much alteration in 16th Century with the purpose to monitor sea traffic in and out of Strangford Lough. The original entrance was 1st floor level but it was blocked up and an new entrance at ground level with machicolation. The 1st floor had a large fireplace with small brick lined oven.
