Join artist and tutor Alison Pascoe of ASTRL Fibres and discover the craft practice of Macramé: the art of knots as part of Newry Arts Festival.
Sharing the methods used in her own practice, Alison will guide you through the fundamental skills needed to complete a beautiful, knotted plant hanger to take home with you.
This course is suitable for absolute beginners and for those interested in further developing their macramé skills. All the required materials to craft one plant hanger will be provided, not including a pot, so participants are encouraged to bring along a favourite (small to medium) plant pot to help make the plant hanger to size.
