About

Drawing is always welcomed at Down County Museum, but for Drawing Day 2025, we're making a special effort to encourage all budding artists to pick up a pencil on their next visit.

Drop in on Drawing Day, Saturday 17 May, or any day Tues-Sat from 10-24 May, 10am-16:30pm. Grab a clipboard, find and draw something. It could be your favourite item in our galleries, something new to you or even something you know nothing about! It could even be one of the museum buildings.

Throughout the museum will also be dedicated sketch stations to find and draw what's in front of you.

At the end of your visit, hang your masterpiece on our gallery wall or take a pic and tag us at @nmdmuseums . We'll show the best off on our social media channels too!
