This talk, delivered by Mel McMahon will explore the life of Wilfred Owen and his contribution to the events of World War One as a soldier and as a poet. A selection of Owen's poems will be explored considering key battles from that time.

Owen's reputation and legacy will also be discussed, from the time of his death to the present day.

The talk will take place on Saturday 15 November, at 2pm in Newry and Mourne Museum, Bagenal's Castle. The entry is £2.50 per person.
