About

Mourne Meadow Cabins are located 2 miles from Newcastle County Down.

There are 2 cabins available to rent with no minimum night requirement. The cabins sleep up to 4 people (they have 1 double bed and sofa bed). Each cabin has a luxurious hot tub for guests to use freely throughout their stay. A gas BBQ is included in the price as well as a fire pit (free logs) for cosy nights roasting marshmallows and having a sign-a-long. They are situated in the countryside however are central to Newcastle, Castlewellan, Dundrum, Murlough, Tollymore and the Mourne Mountains. 

There are small animals in the surrounding fields, chickens, goats, ducks, kittens and a horse and foal. If interested, you are welcome to help at feeding time. There are fresh, free range eggs for you to collect for your breakfast, at no extra cost. 

There is a field for children to play football, badminton, all equipment supplied. There is a lovely grassy area with swing seat for you to relax and enjoy the amazing views of the Mourne Mountains. People who stay sometimes climb Slieve Donard and retreat to the hot tub that evening for a well earned rest, where they can look at the Mountain they conquered! 

Inside the cabin you will find an open planned living space with double bed, sofa bed, kitchenetter (with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster), bathroom (toilet & shower). Extras include, Towelling, bedding, toilet roll, kitchen roll, tissues, all dining and cooking utensils (incl. BBQ), bluetooth speacker, WIFI, Smart TV(signed into Netflix), Hairdryer, a fan, picnic rug and spare bedding.
