Newry city, Downpatrick and Newcastle are all easily accessed from the two main airports in Northern Ireland, Belfast International Airport and the George Best Belfast City Airport and a short drive from the main ferry terminals in Belfast and Larne. Visit Mourne is well connected by road and rail to the Republic of Ireland too. Ulsterbus works in co-operation with Bus Eireann while NI Railways works very closely with Iarnród Éireann as part of the Enterprise train service between Dublin and Belfast with regular stops off in Newry.

Just be sure to keep in mind which side of the road you’re on. In Northern Ireland, we drive on the same side of the road as the rest of the UK and Ireland – on the left!
