About

Now part of Holistic Retreat Centre Embrace, this 1868 barn is a cosy, peaceful haven, set in 95 acres of farm and woodland. It is situated in a beautiful rural location, yet close to many amenities, including: parks, 3 National Trust Properties, shops, restaurants/tearooms, sports and leisure facilities. Five minutes’ drive from Strangford Lough, a recognised area of outstanding natural beauty. The Old Barn is first floor accommodation, with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a wood burning stove and an ensuite family room, consisting of a double bedroom plus an adjoining small separate single bedroom. Oil fired central heating. Views of the Mourne Mountains.

There is also a private (orchard) garden. We have a small wooden cabin in the orchard garden (sunroom with seats). Also towels and linen are provided for anyone who travels from outside Northern Ireland.
