About

Woodquarter Lodge is a spacious well equipped self-catering 2 bedroom lodge suitable for up to 6 people.

Set in woodland location on a country lane in the heart of County Down, you can enjoy the peace and tranquility whilst at the same time being only a 20 minute drive (12 miles) from all the local tourist attractions, best restaurants and night life in the seaside town of Newcastle.

We are proud to be a certified Tourism NI property.

Travel cot, high chair and bed rail available on request.

The space

Local Attractions include the Mountains of Mourne, Royal County Down Golf Course, Game of Thrones filming locations, Forest Parks such as Castlewellan and Tullymore and Beaches such as Murlough and Tyrella. Ideal for golfers as it would suit a 4 ball with a world class golf links course on your doorstep in Royal County Down and Ardglass to name but a few, you will be spoilt for choice.

Woodquarter Lodge is on two levels, an open plan kitchen and living room downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.

The master bedroom has 1 double bed and 2 singles and the second bedroom has 1 double bed. All beds have brand new mattresses to ensure that you get a great night’s sleep. The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people.

The well equipped kitchen has a Hob, Oven, Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster and a Washing Machine. We provide a continental breakfast to help start you off. Double patio doors open out to a private stoned patio area with outside seating for you to relax on. This outside area is enclosed with a locked gate making it safe for small children to play in.

The bathroom is on the first floor and has a toilet, sink, shower and bath. Towels and a hair dryer are also provided.

There is also a snug area on the landing and a separate utility room.

The lodge has oil fired heating and also a wood burning stove which has a back boiler to heat the radiators and water.

There is complementary Wi-Fi as well as free parking.

Minimum 2 night stay.

No pets or smoking allowed.
