Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, with funding support from the Department for Communities, recently completed a comprehensive Tourism Signage and Wayfinding Project across Newry City. The project aims to enhance the visitor experience, support local businesses, and strengthen the city’s appeal as part of a landmark tourism destination on the island of Ireland.
Key improvements included:

Greenway and towpath linkage signs to promote active travel routes

New directional fingerposts throughout the city
