Join us for a delightful and eco-conscious workshop at Kinedale Donkeys in Ballynahinch, where under the expert guidance of Amanda, you'll create festive beeswax candles and scented firestarters. These sustainable creations will not only add warmth and fragrance to your home but also make perfect gifts for the holiday season.

Meet Your Instructor: Amanda

Your workshop will be conducted by Amanda, a creative crafter, and a dedicated beekeeper with a passion for sustainability. As the loving mother of Robert, the owner of Kinedale Donkeys, Amanda brings her expertise and warmth to guide you through crafting festive beeswax candles and scented firestarters that will fill your home with the magic of the holiday season.

What to Expect:

In this enchanting workshop, you'll craft a large main candle and two adjoining tealights using sustainably sourced beeswax. Amanda will expertly guide you through the process, ensuring your candles are not only beautiful but also environmentally friendly. You'll also create scented firestarters infused with the delightful fragrances of the season.

Price: £40 per person

As we'll be in "The Snug" with a log burner, please remember to dress warmly. But fret not, because we have delightful festive treats and hot chocolate available to keep you toasty inside and out. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to spend time with our friendly donkeys and other animals, adding an extra layer of warmth and joy to your visit.

Road Directions

Follow sign for Dromore from Ballynahinch town, 0.5 miles take a right onto Riverside Road. Take the next left onto Chestnut Road, then straight over the crossroads. We are the first yard on the left, through white pillared walls and a green gate. The entrance is at the top of the hill.

Public Transport Directions

Bus to Ballynahinch followed by taxi from Market House or walk 1.5 miles
