About

Suitable for children aged 10+, artist Caroline Williamson will introduce your child to the wonderful world of watercolours. They will be encouraged to select a blossom and examine it's beauty and colour whilst Caroline will give them guidance on tone and shading so that they can create an piece of art to be proud of.

This workshop is hosted in the beautiful glasshouses in the heart of the Annesley Walled Garden and all materials are provided.

Activities are provided FREE through the Re-rooting our past in our future project that is made possible with The National Lottery.
Heritage Fund and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.

Public Transport Directions

From Belfast follow the A24 through Ballynahinch, Seaforde and Clough. In Clough follow the A25. Castlewellan Forest Park is located in the town of Castlewellan on the right. From Dublin follow the M1 to Newry. From A1 take the exit towards Newry/A28/Downpatrick/A25. Follow the A25 to Castlewellan. The Forest park is located on the left in Castlewellan town.
