Children holding up tote bags they designed at Studio 23 for Newry Arts Festival.

About

As part of Newry Arts Festival - Canvas Tote Bag Design.

Come join us at the studio to make some ‘Wearable Art’!

SOLD OUT

Each child will be given a large canvas tote bag to create their piece of art.

During the workshop we will offer help and guidance to children, but the emphasis is to allow children the freedom and opportunity to design their bags how they want.

They will use pencil to sketch their drawings onto the bag, then using a range of fabric paints and markers to bring the sketch to life!

What we provide: · Aprons · Pencils · Fabric markers · Fabric paints · Canvas tote bags · Help and guidance

Please note we will be using fabric paint, so it is advised that children come dressed in clothes they don’t mind getting paint on.
