Tour Castlewellan Historic Demesne

About

Throughout the July and August public tours of Castlewellan Historic Demesne are available every Sunday at 2:30pm.

Run by one of our White Badge accredited guides they include an overview of the rich history of the park, development of the demesne and seasonal highlights of the wider plant collection in the arboretum.

Unfortunately due to restoration works the Walled Garden will remain closed during the tours.

Tour meeting point is in the main car park. They are operated on a first come, first served basis.

Tours last approximately one and a half hours and involve walking on uneven terrain; sturdy footwear is highly recommended. Please contact us to make us aware of mobility issues.
