About

Join us at Down County Museum for free family activities this Christmas.

On Saturday 9th and 16th December, afternoons will be getting festive.

Cosy up for some fireside tales with professional storyteller, Karen Edwards, as she brings alive the wonder and possibilities of winter and the festive season.

Or join local musicians for music ranging from contemporary to traditional. Talented singer and guitarist Debs Fitzsimons will perform on both Saturdays. Her set will cover many of the classics, and is bound to get you in the spirit. On the 9th, we will be treated to a performance from our special guests the Newtownards Silver Band who will perform beautiful arrangements of Christmas classics. On the 16th December, we are also delighted to welcome the St Patrick's Choral Society for a specially selected programme of music.

And to top it off, you'll also be able to take home a Christmas decoration you've made yourself.

So come enjoy our free festive programme and get your season started.
