About

A two day workshop to learn to make a hand stitched and punched leather satchel. On this course we will work with vegetable tanned leather which we will cut by hand, dye and hand stitch for a beautiful and refined finish.

This course will demonstrate how to
1.Handle and cut tooling leather
2.Dye leather by hand
3.Use leather punches to create stitching holes
4.Saddle stitch the satchel using waxed thread
5.Seal the leather with a waterproof finish
6.Add straps for the perfect fit

All Materials included, just wear old clothing or an apron to cover up as we will be using leather dyes/pigments.

Price includes a sandwich lunch (on both days)

Must attend two consecutive Saturdays
