Do you enjoy taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch? Then join us the following weekend on Sunday 4 February 1-4pm in Castlewellan Forest Park to have a go at sketching birds!
Sorrel from the British Trust for Ornithology will be leading a bird walk followed by a relaxed sketching workshop, with a focus on having a natter and enjoying making some bird-themed art.
You definitely don’t need to be a seasoned artist to join us! Whether you’ve dabbled in wildlife art before, or you’ve never picked up a pencil, you are most welcome. This will be an informal afternoon to enjoy connecting with birds and nature through drawing.
All equipment and light refreshments provided, booking is essential.
Activities are provided FREE through the Re-rooting our past in our future project that is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council.”
