Let imaginations run wild in this magical mini workshop led by artist and facilitator Ciara. Children will sculpt their very own mythical clay imp using air-dry clay and an assortment of natural materials like twigs, bark, leaves, and more.
This playful 30-minute session is perfect for children aged 5 to 16, encouraging creativity, fine motor skills, and a love for nature-based art.
Each participant will:
• Shape a unique mythical creature from clay
• Decorate their imp using natural textures and found materials
• Take home their creation to dry and display
Join Red Smiths Forge for a hands-on copper cuff-making workshop tailored especially for young creatives aged 12 and above. Under the guidance of skilled artisans Matthew and Caron, participants will transform a section of copper pipe into a unique, wearable piece of art.
Each attendee will:
• Choose a copper pipe section to match their preferred cuff size
• Learn how to safely hammer the pipe flat into a cuff shape
• Stamp their own pattern or design onto the surface
By the end of this 1-hour session, every participant will leave with a beautiful handmade copper cuff to keep or gift – no unfinished projects here!
Join Lucy Cushley, also known as The Irish Saddler, for a hands-on leathercraft experience where tradition meets creativity. In these engaging sessions, children will craft their very own Mystery Leather Wristband using real leather and simple hand tools.
Each participant will:
• Learn the basics of leatherworking
• Cut, shape, and decorate a wristband
• Take home a finished, wearable piece of craftsmanship

Step into the world of ancient Irish tradition with Owen, an experienced woodcarver and sculptor. In this unique workshop, participants will explore Ogham, the earliest form of Irish writing, by carving personal translations of their birthdate or name onto ash wood staves.
