About
During Covid, while Clare’s hair salon (Vintage Rocks) was closed, Clare focused her creative energy into producing super bright and colourful art pieces instead of bright and colourful hair. She went on to gift and sell her beautiful wildflower meadows to many of her family and friends. Following Clare’s untimely passing in October 2024, Clare’s family decided to gather up as many of these treasured pieces and display them as a tribute to what a creative and magical person she was.
In addition to this they will be selling limited edition prints to raise much needed funds for Saintfield Lodge Nursing Home, where Clare’s dear mum Una spent the later years of her life. After Una sadly passed away in March 2024, Clare was determined to raise funds for the residents.
Now, through this exhibition, Clare’s family and friends hope to fulfil her heartfelt intention — by offering limited edition prints of her artwork. On Saturday 29 November, Clare’s family will be selling limited edition prints and stationary in Down Arts Centre, as well as having a donation bucket. These limited edition prints will also be available to purchase in the Down Art Centre shop while the exhibition runs.
The family would like to welcome you all to Clare’s beautiful exhibition this November in Down Arts Centre.
