About

Hike up Slieve Meelbeg &Meelmore 6th & 7th highest mountain in the Mournes. Hike Begins at Meelmore Lodge Carpark (Parking costs £4). From here we head up along the Ulster Way. Weather permitting we should get some nice views during the Hike. We will turn off and make a steady ascent up Meelbeg until we reach the summit, from here we follow the wall to Meelmore, before descending and heading back to Meelmore lodge.

All participants must have reasonable fitness, come appropriately dressed for a day of hiking no jeans allowed. Make sure you bring plenty of warm clothing, waterproofs, a lunch, snacks and water a small flask containing a hot drink is recommended.

Walk is led by qualified mountain leader.
