About

Welcome to 2025's Mini Forest Festival at Castlewellan Forest Park funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council as part of the Re-rooting our past into the future: Castlewellan Historic Demesne.

This festival is open to families and young children. Strictly 3 tickets per booking for 1 session only (please choose AM or PM booking link).

Our line up this year includes:

Bubble Bike by Carnival Promotions
Petting Farm by Kidz Farm on the Road
Sensory Play by Sensory Splat
Arts and Crafts by Makes and Bakes
Nature Games by Liz Farnan, Environmental Educator
Festival Badges by Castlewellan Historic Demesne

Doors Open:
AM Session 11am-1pm
PM Session 2-4pm

Entry will be restricted to pre-booked participants only. Re-entry is allowed to the festival but you may be required to show an e-ticket. Parents/guardians must accompany children who have booked on to attend and be supervised during the session.
