Festival Exhibition
Four Artists from across the region come together to preview some of their works at this year’s Festival Exhibition Space.

Caóilfíonn Murphy O’Hanlon
Having been brought up on the slopes of Sliabh Gullion, textile artist Caóilfíonn Murphy O’Hanlon has long been beguiled by the ever changing hues, rugged beauty, legends and lore of her place and her people. Drawing on imbued memories and nostalgic inheritances, her quirky textile pieces are made from the hand dyed wool, silks and found objects and reflect her Irish roots and shared landscapes. The word Cushla or Cuisle translates as a term of endearment or as ‘heartbeat/pulse’. Since founding Cushla Of Gullion in 2014, Caóilfíonn has been sharing the living landscape with us through her poetry, photography and textile art.

Cora Harrington
Along with my traditional landscapes and figurative work I love to work expressively and intuitively, allowing what is in my memory, imagination and heart to emerge in each unique painting.
In my abstract and semi abstract painting my intention is to produce a work which is multi-layered and sometimes mysterious drawing the viewer deeper into the painting to experience not only something of my heart and soul but also what lies beyond for them.

Richard Kelly
Richard Kelly Visual Artist and sculpture originally from Co Mayo now living in Co Down. Working for over 28 years as an artist, sculpture, I uses a wide variety of materials including wood, mixed mediums, oil, acrylic on canvas and specialist in graphite work. The style of art, more commonly know as "outsiders Art" primarily conceptual surrealism work inspired by past masters such as Rubens, Michelangelo, Rembrandt and Raphael.
