This weekend, the Séamus Ó Néill Summer School returns to Castlewellan with a vibrant, bilingual programme for all ages and levels of Irish.
Running from 18th–20th July, events will take place in venues throughout the town – including talks, concerts, comedy and culture.

A true festival highlight is the bilingual stand-up comedy show by award-winning comedian Áine Gallagher, known for her hilarious and quirky take on Irish identity and language.

Other highlights include a festival concert with Groove Line & Seosamh Mac, a book launch of 'Dlús' by Ciarán Dunbar, intensive Irish language courses, Manx for Irish speakers, Gaelic in the Garden, a placename walk, Books & Lego, and much more.

There's plenty for children, learners, and fluent speakers alike.
Most events are free, but booking is advised for ticketed sessions.

Ón 18ú go dtí an 20ú Iúil, beidh imeachtaí éagsúla ar siúl i suíomhanna éagsúla timpeall ar an bhaile – idir chainteanna, cheol, ghreann agus chultúr.
