About
Hike up Slieve Bearnagh 4th highest mountain in the Mountains of Mourne. Hike Begins at Meelmore lodge (parking cost £4). From here we head over to the Trassey track and make our way to the Col between Bearnagh and Meelmore Before Ascending to the summit. Weather permitting we should get some nice views over the Mournes. Before Descending down to Hares gap and back onto the Trassey track and back to the cars.
All participants must have reasonable fitness, come appropriately dressed for a day of hiking no jeans allowed. Make sure you bring plenty of warm clothing, waterproofs, a lunch, snacks and water a small flask containing a hot drink is recommended.
Walk is led by qualified mountain leader.
