About

Hollymount cottage with its traditional stone faced exterior and beautiful surroundings, is the ideal getaway location. This newly refurbished, well equipped cottage provides the perfect accommodation for six people- 2 double and 2 single beds all including all of your home comforts.

We are located near various areas of natural beauty such as the scenic Ballydugan lake within walking distance, golfing at Ardglass and Bright castle , horse riding at Tullymurry and swimming at Downpatrick leisure centre. Game of Thrones fans can view some filming venues such as ‘Inch Abbey’ and "Audleys Castle" Strangford which is only 15 minutes away.

We are only 10 miles from Newcastle and the stunning Mourne Mountains including Spelga Dam, Silent Valley and the coastal route leading to St Johns Point.

Enjoy a local Pint at the Lakeside inn or The Mill At Ballydugan.

Guests are welcome to relax in our secure garden, while children have fun in our playground and outdoor equipment.

We extend a warm welcome to come and unwind in our cosy country cottage.
