The Kings' Inn is renowned for its excellent bar food in its warm and comfortable lounge, friendly atmosphere with weekly entertainment.

Our intimate a la carte resturant is renowned for its locally produced food and excellent service. Our stables suite is the ideal setting for that special occasion; weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries and christenings, with a warm roaring fire to enhance your experience. This suite can accommodate from 1-110 persons. All our rooms are ensuite with bath and shower. In each room we have tea and coffee facilities, television and hair dryer. Our honeymoon suite is fitted with a super king size bed, double shower and leather sofa, tea and coffee facilities, television, hair dryer and fitted iron board. Free wifi in public areas for all our customers.

In the old market town of Castlewellan, the Kings Inn is ideally situated to take advantage of the Mournes, the seaside town of Newcastle and all the amenities of South Down. The Royal County Down golf course is only a five minutes drive away. Enjoy beautiful scenery and peaceful walks in our own forest park in Castlewellan and Tollymore forest park. The two most attractive and popular sites for special occasion photographs; weddings.

Also in the area we have many activities available including fishing, abseiling, mountain climbing, water sports, mountain bikes trails and cycling. In Castlewellan forest park children and adults can have a wonderful time getting lost in the worlds biggest maze.
