PUB OF THE YEAR 2022 Our Guest room is situated above our Pub - Dundrum Inn on the Main Street. We have a partial view of the sea the accommodation its own private entrance ( you do not have to enter the pub ) , one boutique double bedroom with tea / coffee and light breakfast provided. The en-suite shower room is newly fitted with generous walk in shower. The space Facilities include: - 1 x Double sized bed (bedding & towels provided) - Crockery, glasses, mugs & cutlery - Tea, coffee, sugar & milk - Continental breakfast - Small fridge - Lounge seating x2 - En suite Bathroom hot water shower, WC & sink - All bedding and towels provided together with additional blankets - Electricity sockets - Wi-Fi - Ironing board - Television in room - Hairdryer Check-in after 3pm / Check-out before 11am please.

Your beloved dog is not allowed in the room but is very welcome at pub below whilst your are there. Dundrum has many great walks, as well as a Norman Castle, world famous Murlough Nature Reserve, and we are a 10 minute drive to the Mourne Mountains, Tollymore Forest Park, Royal County Down Golf course in Newcastle. Dundrum has many great walks, as well as a Norman Castle, world famous Murlough Nature Reserve, and we are a 10 minute drive to the Mourne Mountains, Tollymore Forest Park, Royal County Down Golf course in Newcastle.

Castlewellan town is close by and is famous for its forest, maze and lakes.

Guest access

Parking is on street outside, covered by our CCTV, access to the beach is just across the road outside 1min walk.

A must do is visit DUNDRUM CASTLE, very steep walk up but worth it for the spectacular views

Guests are welcome to use the facilities of the public house and beer garden during opening hours.

Other things to note

FOOD - Dundrum has a choice of dinning including @DundrumInn (open Friday to Sunday), Award winning Mourne Seafood Bar, squid shack and Buck's Head fine dining restaurant for the special occasions.
Dont forget excellent cooked breakfasts at the Blue Bay cafe. Further away is the Maghera inn ( taxi ride - famous for pub lunches ) then 3 miles away into Newcastle our largest local town with lots of restaurants to explore.

GOLF - We can arrange bespoke golf tee times & trips ( additional costs ) to all the local courses, Royal Co Down, Ardglass, Kilkeel, Downpatrick, driver / host available to help you during your stay.

WALKING - We have the GREATEST walking / hiking on the planet right on our doorstep. Suitable for all fitness levels, come and explore where mother nature had her best day.

ABOUT - County Down is where, in the words of the song by Percy French, "The mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea", and the area around the granite Mourne Mountains continues to be known for its scenery. Slieve Donard, at 849 m (2,785 ft), is the highest peak in the Mournes, in Northern Ireland and in the province of Ulster. Another important peak is Slieve Croob, at 534 m (1,752 ft), the source of the River Lagan.
