This delightful 3 bedroom cottage (sleeping 6) in the heart of the magical Mourne Mountains - is an ideal base from which to explore the outstanding scenery and experience the wide variety of activities that the area has to offer.

The cosy first floor sitting room has a welcoming gas fire, Freeview TV and a DVD player. A library of books and DVD’s is provided for your use. The house is bright, modern and very well equipped - including free WiFi.

There is a double bedroom with an ensuite on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a twin room and bunk room and an additional bathroom. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine and many other items to help ensure that your holiday is comfortable and easy.

Return to a slower pace of life in this charming house tucked away in a private courtyard development in the delightful and quaint rural village of Bryansford in the heart of the beautiful Mourne Mountains - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Soak up the unique atmosphere of Bryansford Village and enjoy the vibrant colour of the hanging baskets and planters that are scattered throughout the village in the summer months.

The local Post Office/ General Store is only a short stroll away (100 metres) and stocks all the main essentials. There is a larger Tesco Store in Newcastle (3 miles away).

Tollymore Walk is an ideal base from which to explore the area. There are a wide variety of Things to Do and these are outlined in the comprehensive Guide to the Area that is left inside the house.

The location is perfect for activity holidays. It is on the edge of Tollymore Forest Park and only 3 miles from both Castlewellan Forest Park and Royal County Down Golf Club etc. Murlough beach, owned by the National Trust, is an ideal vantage point to take in the majestic view of the Mourne Mountain range.

The scenic location ensures there is hillwalking to cater for all ages and levels of fitness.

Visit the Seaside Town of Newcastle (3 miles) with its cafes and shops.
