Meet the Producers

Killeavy Castle Estate is the centrepiece of 350 acres of mixed farm and woodland nestled below Slieve Gullion. Killowen Distillery is one of Ireland’s smallest distilleries nestled in the Mourne Mountains overlooking Carlingford Lough. Using time-honoured, historical – albeit time-consuming processes – allows Killowen’s unique flavour profile to echo the historical international whiskeys of choice;  ones that were distinctively ‘Irish’. Meaning our highly sought-after Irish product can rightfully be held in high esteem once again. At the Twilight Market they will have on their stand samples for you to try their renowned Rum & Raisin Single Malt Irish Whiskey; Pangur Poitín as well as their selection of Gins … all of which can be purchased on the evening to take home. Be sure to also ask them about tours of the distillery.

Mourne Larder chef, edible plant expert and owner Paul Cunningham of the Great British Menu alumni will be preparing the Dining Experience in the Gaol on the evening. This is truly one feast not to miss, a potentially once in a lifetime experience to have a meal in the cells of Down County Gaol that used to hold prisoners on their last day here on earth or before being shipped to the colonies in New South Wales Australia. Safe to say you will be eating better than they did!

NearyNógs Chocolate Makers are Ireland's first bean to bar, chocolate makers. NearyNógs chocolate is small batch crafted on the Mourne Coast.  Their family friendly chocolate factory has breathtaking views of the Irish Sea, Carlingford Lough & the Mourne Mountains.  They take great pride in their chocolate making.  Every process is meticulously controlled so that every ethically sourced cacao beans' origin, of fine flavour, shines through. Whitewater Brewing Co. Ltd was established in 1996 on the fifth-generation family farm amidst the spectacular Mourne Mountain range. Whitewater Brewery still retains the passion and desire to brew beers with fantastic flavours. With award winning beers like Maggie’s Leaps and Belfast Lager they have a growing range where you will be sure to find something you like. Denvir’s of Downpatrick was established in 1642 and is the oldest surviving Coaching Inn in Ireland.  Steeped in history it is the perfect setting for a relaxing break. Offering old world charm in the heart of Downpatrick, Denvir's has a long tradition of sheltering travellers and will endeavour to ensure that your meal or overnight stay will be a memorable one. At the Twilight Market they will be providing the bar for the evening serving the local distilleries and breweries drinks.

Rademon Estate Distillery is set in over 500 acres in the Co.Down countryside outside Crossgar. With over 400 years of history the Distillery is a new chapter in the history of the estate. Fiona and David took a dream of owning their very own distillery and made it happen. The distillery stands proud as Northern Ireland’s first award winning craft distillery and home to Ireland’s Most Awarded Gin, Shortcross Gin. Tried and tested techniques are augmented with cutting edge distillation and flavour development processes to produce outstanding award-winning liqueurs. Crawford’s Rock Seaweed Co. following in their ancestors footsteps they forage the shore at Crawford’s Rock for seaweed to use in their Seaweed Seasonings, Seaweed Salts and a Seaweed Capsule they like to call "VITAMINSEA".  Visit their stand at the Twilight Market to find out more about the health benefits of seaweed and pick up some of their award winning seasoning and salts.

The Fancy Fox is a quirky coffee truck owned by Lorna O’Boyle from Castlewellan, Co Down. The Fancy Fox provides quality beverages including barista style Bro Coffee, Suki Tea & Hot Chocolate. In addition they also serve hand crafted Fox Fancies which will consist of French style cakes and treats made by their in-house pastry chef which are made using locally sourced ingredients where possible.  What better place to get your coffee or sweet fix at the Twilight Market.

Kin and Folk is run by Maija and David, a husband and wife team who make fine treats, bakes and breads at their small batch bakery in Castlewellan, Co. Down. Two Stacks Irish Whiskey blending the very best of contemporary Irish flavour with real distilling heritage; Two Stacks is at the forefront of Ireland’s Whiskey revival. Meet the Entertainment

Clann Uí hUiginn (Higgins Clan) are a contemporary Irish traditional music group from Downpatrick. They will be taking to the stage at 5.30pm to get the evening and craic started as only they know how.

Evazion, a 5 piece cover band made up of local musicians from Downpatrick will take to the stage at 7pm playing well known rock n roll classics along with songs from the 60s to the 2000’s to keep the evening bopping.

Discobeard, a two piece from Newcastle, Co.Down. Pop Gods, good lads and masters of the musical universe. Will be having you dancing the night away taking to the stage from 8.30pm.
