About

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in the calming atmosphere of the forest. Let the sights, sounds, and scents of the trees and wildlife wash away your stress.

Forest Bathing is based on the Japanese concept of Shinrin Yoku. An immersive and meditative experience in woodlands that can help improve mental and physical health and allow us to reconnect with nature.

Tony Bailie is an accredited Forest Therapy Practitioner.  Tony creates a series of invitations to help participants become more aware of their senses and experience their immersion in among the trees in a deeper and more connected way.

The sight of nature, smell of the bark and leaves, sound of wind in the trees, birds singing and feel of the earth or the trees themselves can change neural activities and slow down our mind and our bodies.

Forest Bathing events will be available at Dlelamont Country Park, Castlewellan Forest Park and Kilbroney Park, throughout the summer,

Minium of 4 and maximum of 10 people per booking.

Under 18's must be accompanied by and adult.
