Red Kite Winter Roost Tour

Castlewellan, County Down
Large group enjoying the Red kite Tour. Ladies wrapped up warm looking out at the Mourne skyline. The view from Lighthouse road car park.

About

Escorted tour to viewpoints around the stunning rolling hills and drumlins of South Down (as part of the Mourne Gullion Strangford UNESCO Global Geopark). As you gaze at the beautiful scenery, you and your guide will look to the skies for the Red Kites as they come in to roost, against the backdrop of the Mourne Mountains and the Dromara Hills and as the sun sets behind the mystical Slieve Gullion. Ravens, Buzzards, Sparrowhawks and even Peregrine falcons make this landscape their home too.

Tour groups consist of 4-8 participants. Home-baked cakes and hot refreshments included.
