About

Located on the outskirts of Kilkeel, the rural, tranquil setting will appeal to a wide range of guests. Ample parking is available for guests with an enclosed garden offering families peace of mind. The garden area to the side of the property is a lovely place to sit and relax, listen to the river and enjoy the peace. The guest lounge, kitchen and dining area share an open plan space.

Outside there is a roofed BBQ and Pizza oven area as well as a firepit. Children also have access to the swings and slide in the communal garden. There is 8 acres of ancient woodland and private meadow which guests have access to during their stay. The Kilkeel River is the a perfect habitat for many native birds and plants, Wee Home provides the perfect setting to relax and enjoy nature.

So, with a lovely place to stay you can either put your feet up and relax or get out and about in this spectacular part of the world! Hill walkers can enjoy the spectular Mountains of Mourne, forest parks, mountain biking, championship golf courses, Game of Thrones® filming locations, great restaurants and coffee shops are all nearby. We are within a 10 minute drive to the Carlingford Ferry guests have the opportunity to explore and visit the Cooley Pennisula and Ireland Ancient's East. A car is advisable. Translink do provide a regular service - Kilkeel to and from Belfast, Newcastle and Newry.
