Warrenpoint Beach is a scenic seaside destination nestled on the shores of Carlingford Lough in County Down, Northern Ireland. This family-friendly beach offers a peaceful escape with sweeping views across Carlingford Lough to the Cooley Mountains. Its tranquil waters and gently sloping shoreline make it ideal for paddling, picnicking, and beachcombing.  Warrenpoint is a must-visit stop for nature lovers and coastal explorers alike.

Warrenpoint’s well-kept promenade runs alongside the beach and is popular for walking, jogging, and enjoying the fresh sea air. Just a short stroll from the seafront, visitors can enjoy cafés, ice cream parlours, and local shops in the heart of the town. Families can make use of nearby facilities including a children’s playground and open green spaces in Warrenpoint Municipal Park, perfect for outdoor play. The beach also hosts one of Northern Ireland’s last remaining sea-fed swimming pools, known locally as the Warrenpoint Baths (not in use).

Directions from Town:Warrenpoint Beach is accessible from many points along the Seaview, best access from the lower end of Queen street (A2) with nearby parking. Warrenpoint Park close to the centre of the town has a magnificent array of flowers and shrubs and the fine Edwardian bandstand is the focus for popular summer band concerts. Facilities include tennis courts and play area.
