Margaret Clarke

About

For Art History Festival 2025 we have developed a new family-friendly trail "King of our Castle" focussing on the portrait of Sir Nicholas Bagenal, encouraging visitors to explore the art on display in the galleries and to engage in creative activities from September 15–21.

Additionally, our Curator, Shan McAnena, will give a talk titled "A History of Drawing: Works from the Newry and Mourne Museum". This talk on 20 September at 2pm, will explore the history and use of drawing, illustrated with examples from the Newry & Mourne Museum collection.

This event is part of Art History Festival 2025 organised by the Association for Art History.
