About

Dogwoods and Dollars
An exhibition by artist in Residence Áine McKenna. Specialising in porcelain, this ceramics design
exhibition marks the end of her Down Art Centre residency, during which time she had the opportunity to experiment and create this new body of work. Dogwood and Dollars is a reflection of a specific time and place and how once changed by a new experience one will never be the same again. The work is beautiful and delicate with a nod to spirituality and symbolism.
