Hidden Gems At Home | Mourne Gullion Strangford Geopark Tourism Showcase Event
The 'Hidden Gems At Home' Tourism Showcase Event is happening on Sunday 23 March 2025, from 1pm to 6pm at Newry Variety Market in Newry City. This free event aims to inspire residents of Newry, Mourne, and Down to explore the Mourne Gullion Strangford Geopark by featuring over 55 local tourism experiences. Attendees can enjoy pay-as-you-go taster sessions, food and drink stalls, and family-friendly activities. Exhibitors include outdoor adventure providers, wellness experiences, luxury accommodations, attractions and experiences, offering a comprehensive insight into the region's offerings.

Many of our festivals celebrate the seasons and some remember saints but all of them will introduce you to the people of Mourne Mountains & Ring of Gullion – the local artisans who show and sell their handmade wares, the artists who paint and carve the stories of this beautiful landscape and, of course, the musicians who put it all down in song.
