Seamus O'Rourke - Padraig Potts Play in Hilltown

Hilltown Hall, 22 Rostrevor Road, Hilltown, Down, BT34 5XR
Seamus O'Rourke - Padraic Potts

About

Seamus O'Rourke is back in Hilltown on Sunday 23 March in Hilltown Hall for his show "Padraic Potts" at 7pm.

Padraig Potts - This coming-of-age play, set in rural Ireland, just might break your heart – It might also bring you back to a time and place full of innocence and longing.

Doused with the colour and humour we have come to expect from Seamus O'Rourke – this time he is joined on stage by a chorus of characters that have enchanted his past.

Padraig Potts manfully wades through the indecisions of his youth as we discover that we should always follow our hearts and our dreams!

This is a relentless tale of love and failure and fatigue… and then just in time… at the end – love again. A seamless tapestry of what made us squirm in the 70's and 80's.

Hilltown Hall, Sunday 23 March 2025. Doors 6.30pm, start at 7pm. Cost £15.
