Summer Workshops

Newry and Mourne Museum, Bagenal's Castle, Castle Street, Newry, County Down, BT34 2BY
Mini canvas on an easel

About

Newry and Mourne Museum is pleased to announce its summer workshops, inspired by the main and temporary exhibitions, from 7 to 10 August 2024.

Over the four days the attendees will make a range of crafts, including making vintage scrapbooks using stickers and mementos, using moulds, stamps and sculpting tools. They will even paint a mini canvas on an easel, taking inspiration from the Newry Artists Past and Present exhibition currently on display.

The workshops will take place from 11am – 1pm. Numbers are limited to 10 and the sessions planned are suitable for children aged 7 - 12. The cost will be £10.

Children must be dressed for mess, and we will take a short break at 12 noon if they want to take a small snack.
