About

Wayne Devlin to Perform at Newry Town Hall – A Night of Music, Memory, and Community

Newry, Co. Down – 4 July 2025
International crooner Wayne Devlin is set to perform live at Newry Town Hall on Friday 4th July 2025 at 7:30pm (doors open 7:00pm) for a special night celebrating heritage, music, and community.

Backed by the Newry Democrat and compered by Kevin McAllister—"Mr Newry" himself—the concert will raise vital funds for Head Injury Support, a respected Newry-based charity supporting individuals and families affected by head trauma.

This performance marks Wayne's return to his ancestral hometown. His grandfather, Joseph Devlin, was born in the Newry Workhouse in 1910, and this visit forms part of Wayne's heartfelt personal journey to rediscover his roots. But it's also a cultural celebration: Wayne will treat the audience to an unforgettable evening of Great American Songbook classics, bringing the golden age of swing and crooning to life.

Following the concert, guests are invited to continue the evening at The Bridge Bar Newry.
