Exhibition & Sale of Art by Adrian Margey & Evana Bjourson at Killeavy Castle Estate

Killeavy Castle Estate, 12 Ballintemple Road, Killeavy, Armagh, BT35 8LQ
'Flagstaff Marvel' by Adrian Margey

About

Acclaimed North Coast artists Adrian Margey and Evana Bjourson are set to delight art enthusiasts with a major joint exhibition and sale of their latest work at the stunning Killeavy Castle Estate near Newry. The two-day event will take place on Saturday 15th November (10am–8pm) and Sunday 16th November (11am–6pm) in the Castle's elegant Garden Lounge.

This special showcase presents an opportunity to experience the distinctive artistic styles of both Margey and Bjourson displayed side by side in a truly atmospheric setting.

Adrian Margey and Evana Bjourson are a husband-and-wife artistic duo. Bjourson holds a Masters in Architecture from Ulster University and Margey, a Phd from Queen's University Belfast. They have developed distinctive yet complementary styles that celebrate the beauty, spirit, and character of Ireland. Margey is renowned for his bold, expressive works that fuse contemporary vibrancy with a deep sense of place and tradition. Bjourson, meanwhile, captivates audiences with her emotive figurative paintings and dynamic studies of mountains and waves, exploring themes of strength, movement, and human connection. Margey's exhibition in Washington DC and invitation to live paint at Tourism Ireland's Experience Ireland showcase in Milan in recent years have added to his international following and demand for both artists' work is high among collectors at home and overseas.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Margey commented: "We're excited to welcome visitors into this beautiful setting to connect with our work. Depictions of the Ring of Gullion, the Mournes, Flagstaff, Carlingford Lough, Warrenpoint and Rostrevor will all feature alongside Dublin and Belfast cityscapes and depictions of the North Coast and Donegal."

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet both artists during the weekend and discuss potential commissions. Admission to the exhibition is free, and all works will be available for purchase.
