About

Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland
Rostrevor Folk Club at Crawfords
Monday, April 24th. 8pm.

"Fil Campbell … has been likened to a lot of female performers, but can be compared to none. She has a unique voice and a knack of making every song her own." The Word (Ireland)

"Vocals and rhythm, the basis of music"
Berlin's Zitty Magazine on Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland

Beautifully contrasting vocals, a unique mix of guitar and inventive percussion, original and contemporary songs, engaging choruses and the Irish gift of chat and craic – little wonder the distinctive sound of Co Down based Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland has won fans around the world. With eight studio CDs and several project recordings, their diverse range of songs – powerful, intimate and quirky – continues to captivate audiences wherever they play.

The Rostrevor Folk Club at Crawfords are delighted to announce a very special evening on April 24th when Fil and Tom will be launching their new CS, Shoreline. It's six years since their last CD. The cover art is taken from a painting by Colum McEvoy who illustrated Tom's Birdsong book.
