Sacred Sites of Killeavy Tour

3 Church Road, Killeavy, Newry, County Armagh, BT35 8LF
panoramic view of Killeavy

About

This tour celebrates the Celtic festival of Bealtaine, when it was a tradition to visit holy wells. This falls about midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice.

You will experience the deep silence and palpable sense of peace within these sacred grounds, founded in the 5th century and on the mountain at the pre-Christian well. Rest, reconnect and breathe in the spectacular panoramic view of the Ring of Gullion, during a guided meditation. Your spiritual journey will include a ritual tea ceremony.
