Few new bands have made an impact like TRÚ, whose mixed heritage includes British-Ukrainian, Ulster-Scots and Irish. Despite a contemporary edge, the band's heritage is traditional, mixing Irish and Scots music with original compositions. Their two albums, 'No Fixed Abode' and 'Eternity Near' were both shortlisted for Best Album, Northern Ireland Music Prize.
