Strangford Lough and Lecale

Denvir's Coaching Inn is a historic pub located in Downpatrick, with a cosy ambiance and friendly atmosphere. Enjoy an evening here with friends, the bar offers a selection of cocktails and a wide variety of drinks. You can enjoy traditional Irish music on some weekends, live local artists or the DJ’s tunes and have a dance in the beer garden. Oh, and don’t forget to try some delicious food in their restaurant.

Turley’s Bar in Downpatrick is a popular spot, known for its lively atmosphere and great selection of drinks. It’s an ideal spot in Downpatrick to enjoy a fun night out with friends. Turley's showcase live entertainment each weekend, usually music sessions that run on Saturday nights which bring swarms of people eager to watch the performances.

Not too far from Downpatrick is The Anchor Bar. It is a family run bar located in the seaside town of Killough County Down. It offers a lovely tasting pint and welcoming atmosphere. Every weekend you’re more than likely to find some sort of live entertainment!  From talented local musicians, to DJ’s playing on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Dufferin Arms in Killyleagh has been at the heart of Killyleagh since 1802. As well as being a place to have a delicious bite to eat, the Dufferin is a much-loved place for a pint or two. They feature local performers on Saturdays from 4pm and Sunday sessions run from 8pm to 10pm. These local musicians bring people together to enjoy some casual jamming sessions where visitors are welcome to bring their instruments along and join in!

The Cuan, in the beautiful, tranquil village of Strangford, is a lovely bar/restaurant famous for its delicious food and brilliant atmosphere. On occasion the Cuan offers live entertainment to enjoy while drinking a few beverages late into the night.

In the seaside village of Ardglass, The Old Commerical Bar, situated near to the Ardglass Golf Club, is the place to go for a refreshing pint of Guiness especially after a game on the fairways! It is also a great spot to watch live televised sporting events, appreciate local musicians or just join in with the craic.

Newry City

If you and your friends want more of a nightclub atmosphere, Newry's newest Sports bar & Nightclub, The Whistling Donkey, is the place for you. Ginger Janes is another nightclub option for a Friday or Saturday night in NewryThis just might be the place for you.  They have a gin and cocktail bar and serve a tasty food menu with wine pairings. On any weekend it will be busy with party goers.

The Mournes

If you decide you want to hit up a bar with superb live entertainment visit the Cloughmore Inn, Rostrevor. They have talented local artists jamming while you enjoy the cosy setting of this traditional pub, with a roaring fire in winter. It is popular with locals and visitors alike.

The Rostrevor Inn is located in a beautifully refurbished 18th century building, where the Crawford family first started serving drinks in the mid-1800s. The Rostrevor Inn hosts a charming traditional bar, atmospheric snugs and a stylish bistro serving delicious food. With an exciting programme of live events and entertainment, they regularly feature local musical talent for which the area is famed. You might even need to book a bed here as often the entertainment goes right into the wee hours of the morning.

No7 Duke Street, in the picturesque seaside town of Warrenpoint, is a Bar/Restaurant known for its lively environment, great service, and it is an impressive spot for live entertainment as well as being a delicious place to have a bite to eat. Dance the night away with friends and indulge on yummy cocktails and perfectly poured pints.

Ye Old Ship Inn prides itself in being one of Warrenpoint's leading bars for live music and sport. Taste some lovely, locally craft beer and enjoy the friendly atmosphere and ambiance.

The First and last Bar in Warrenpoint is a cosy pub known for its warm atmosphere.  It is popular with locals and visitors, whether you are looking for a cold beer or a tasty cocktail, the First and Last Bar has got you covered. Grab a seat, raise a glass and enjoy the live music every weekend.

Close to Newcastle we have the Dundrum Inn. A wonderful Bar/Restaurant and a great place to enjoy some delicious food and drinks. Enjoy a refreshing pint of Guinness and get comfy, some weekends you’ll find talented local artists perform on Saturdays.

Maginn's located in Castlewellan is a popular spot to visit, whether you want some quality affordable food, relax with friends and family over a drink, watch your favourite sport or dance the night away, this outstanding family run bar has something for everyone.

Providing a warm friendly atmosphere is the Kilmorey Arms Hotel in Kilkeel. This hotel is steeped in history, visitors can experience the finest culinary pleasures in the restaurant and bar. They have vast range of cocktails on offer at the bar to enjoy while attending some evening entertainment. The Kilmorey arms has Bingo on Tuesdays at 8pm and each weekend live music is available for you to dance along to.

Ring of Gullion

At the foot of Slieve Gullion, Johnny Murphy’s traditional Irish Pub & Restaurant offers exceptional views. Have a nice romantic meal at their Steak and Wine night and cosy up in a booth feeling the glow of the wood burning fire. Or if you are looking for a spot to party for the night, they have live entertainment on the weekends, grab your friends for a few drinks and soak up the tunes.

The Welcome Inn in Forkhill, located at the southern end of the Ring of Gullion, offers friendly service, complete with traditional ambiance.  Live entertainment is available on the weekends!
