About

During this special forest bathing day retreat, we will celebrate the magical season of Autumn and the Celtic festival of Samhain, the harvest.  We are naturally entering a period of rest and reflection.

Your forest experience will end with a tea ceremony with organic wild apple & cinnamon with short bread from a local traditional bakery.

Relax and continue to awaken you senses over a locally produced, seasonal, sensory, three-course lunch: Autumn greens soup with spinach, kale, celery and scallion & home- baked wheaten bread; a vegetarian salad with local goats cheese, walnuts with a beetroot and mint chutney. And for dessert, apple tart  served with cream, tea/coffee, including herbal teas. Recipes will be available to take home.

After lunch we will explore how you can bring the practice of forest bathing/nature connection into your everyday life. We will gently end the event with a guided meditation, taking the of gift of mindfulness home with you.

Notes for Visitors
Please wear warm, comfortable clothing, hat, gloves and a few extra layers as we will be standing and sitting still in the forest, waterproofs, walking boots/shoes.
