Fire & Smoke Themed Dining Experience

Narrow Water Castle, 67 Newry Road, Newry, County Down, BT34 3LE
Fire and Smoke Main

About

Banquet style feast with live fire cooking, storytelling around the campfire and live music from local artists.

Cooking on a live fire, the most ancient method of preparing a meal. This event is curated specifically to celebrate our ancient traditions. Immersed in the arboretum of Narrow Water Castle you will be surrounded by a canopy of mature handpicked trees carefully selected from all over Europe and placed in the early 1900s.

This pop up dining experience is somewhere between a restaurant with no walls and a magical woodland dining experience in the beautiful surroundings of south County Down.

Event starts at 7pm sharp – Meet at front of main castle.

Walk through the gardens to the first of two intimate fire pit areas to receive a complimentary welcome drink and soak in the breath taking views of the castle itself and Carlingford Lough.

Short ramble through the trees to our main fire and smoke area where you will be served canapes on arrival whilst being serenaded by some of our local musicians.

The main banquet will then be served under our tents with music continuing as you dine by candlelight with a complimentary glass of wine.

After this the final course of sweet treats will be served – make sure to keep room for marshmallows around the open fire pit while listening to our local storyteller.

Music and drinks follow until 11pm when the event ends and guests will be escorted back to the castle before saying adieu.
