About

Seán Donnelly
'There is a gentleness in the man's voice and a kindness in the guitar that un-wrinkles the mind and body and you are glad you came along.'
Tommy Sands

Described as 'the real folk voice of Northern Ireland', Seán has been a star of the folk club circuit for many years and has appeared on numerous folk-related tv programmes. Sean's repertoire includes Irish traditional songs, especially those with which he grew up, as well as contemporary material. He has become synonymous in the north of Ireland for 'The Homes of Donegal'. He has played many folk festivals, recorded several highly acclaimed albums and remains a big hit on the folk circuit.
Chanel McManus
We are delighted to welcome the highly talented singer-songwriter Chanel McManus to the Folk Club. Chanel, who plays a variety of styles, has already played twice here, as part of our New Voices evening in 2023 and earlier that year with Tim Edey. With her engaging voice and intricate guitar accompaniment she has captivated Fiddlers Green Festival audiences for many years now. Both artists will play one set each
