37 Forkhill Road, Meigh, County Armagh, BT35 8JT
WWII Hut

About

Visit a quirky, cosy Nissen hut. It began its life as a sleeping quarter for American soldiers, during WW2 on Greencastle Airforce base. Since its arrival to Killeavy, in 1946, it has been transforming into a cultural, healing space. Drop by for a cup of tea and meet Holistic Guide Ann from Xhale. She will share its history, versatile, contemporary use and opportunites to hire it.

Enhanced with live music thanks to funding from the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership and the Traditional Arts Partnership
